It's been 8 years since we've lost this beautiful, talented, sweet spirit. Aaliyah blessed us with an innovative style that had most girls baring their midriffs and rockin' that infamous down-to-there wrap with the heavy swoop bangs. Her musical talent was both sweet and edgy, her beats were futuristic with lyrics ahead of their time and her dancing was phenomenal. She started out with "Back and Forth" and ended up being "More Than a Woman".

In deed we do. She died the day before my birthday and I will never forget hearing that news. Had every CD and loved every song! I am dying for that movie to come out. What the hec is taking so long?

I am waiting for the movie as well! I hope the lead actress, kesha shante, does "babygirl" justice. I agree that she definitely would have given the ciaras and keris a run for their $$$
