Girl You Talk TOO Much!

We're all guilty of it. At one time or another, we've all blabbed something that was told to us in confidence. That's life and occasionally, shit happens. The problem comes in when you're constantly doing so and then getting into "situations" with your friends over your big mouth. Some people just can't hold water. The minute you tell them something they gotta spill. Whether it's done maliciously or not, constantly telling others' biz gives you a label that will have people never wanting to confide in you again because you're a human billboard. When friends view you as a confidante, that means that they are comfortable with, as well as trust you. Even when you don't invite people to use you as a shoulder, it's still not cool to spill the beans. Be honest with yourself...you know when you have a big mouth because at some point or another, someone has told you that you do! And if you have yet to be confronted about it, chances are people have either stopped telling you things or have warned others about your "condition".

You know you talk too much when:

A sudden hush falls over the room when you walk in. Rather than risk their business being in the Daily News, people instantly shut up and twiddle their thumbs or begin talking about the weather.

Hardly any of your personal phone convos or e-mail messages are about your own life. The transcripts could be collected and used as bios for your friends.

The National Enquirer contacts you about a "journalist" position and you didn't even apply.

Talking too much shows that you have very little respect for peoples' privacy. When you're a Blabbermouth you're better off just telling your friend the truth--that you probably shouldn't be the one they confide in. Just shut up, grow up and get a life of your own so that others' secrets, issues, and problems don't have to be the main focus of your daily life.
